Remember, athletic fees are due now for the 2011-2012 season.

Grades 5-12

$50 for one sport per year per athlete

$75 for multiple sports per year per athlete

$125 per family per year

Attention players: Please return your basketball uniforms to Coach G. Please make sure that it is in a bag WITH YOUR NAME ON IT!!! Since there are several players with a given number Coach G says she must have your name to keep it all straight.

SWIMMING: There is a new swimming lesson opportunity for Veritas Academy Grammar students. The program is directed by Greg Schmid and is aimed at homeshooling families in this area. All sessions will be held at the Chatham County Aquatic Center. Sessions are Monday from 1-2, Wednesday from 1:45-2:45 and Thursday from 1-2. SOCCER : Recreation/Micro Spring Soccer - Veritas Soccer practice for our micro teams will begin this Monday, February 27th from 12:45-1:45 PM at Forsyth Park and will continue on Mondays throughout the season. This opportunity is for our fall U-6 and U-8 Gryphon teams. However, new players are welcome. If you did not play last season but are interested in joining these teams, contact Frank Orellana at Orellana.frank@gmail.com.

TENNIS: If you are interested, the form Phyllis mentions in the instructions is attached. Savannah Area Tennis Association invites Veritas Academy to join our Taste of Tennis Group Lessons.
TIME AND PLACE: Thursdays from 1:00 to 2:30 at Lake Mayer, starting Thursday, March 29. We skip over bad weather days and holidays. Parents will be e-mailed or called if there is a cancellation. In spite of the skips, your children will still get six sessions and a chance to enjoy tennis with friends.
SIX GROUP LESSONS: These group lessons will work on tennis basics and include beginner games, contests and treats. The last session will be hit for prizes and a series of contests in which eventually every child gets an award. The cost is $50 and if you need a racquet you can purchase one from us for an additional $13.
HOW TO SIGN UP: DO NOT SEND THE FORM TO SCHOOL.
