Veritas Rhetoric School student, Mark Taylor, and former Veritas student, Anna Heritage, competed in the American Legion High School Oratorical Contest.  Anna placed second and Mark placed first in the contest held for students all over the city of Savannah. The contest was held February 11, 2012 at the American Legion Hall on Bull Street. Both Anna and Mark gave an 8-10 minute speech on one aspect of the U.S. Constitution and a 3-5 minute speech on an assigned topic that was announced the day of the contest.
