New Student Admissions Procedures

Parents apply on behalf of their children by completing the following:

Step 1:  Review the Veritas Website
Become familiar with our mission, vision, educational philosophy and approach.

Step 2:  Attend a Veritas Visit
We invite you to these Open House events scheduled for the second Wednesday of each month at 9:30AM.  The true culture of our school is best experienced by seeing Veritas students in their active environment.

Step 3:  Return the completed application packet.  This should include the following:
     -  Completed application (see below)
     -  Pastor recommendation
     -  Standardized test scores
     -  *Report cards or transcripts from the previous schools
     -  Non-refundable application and testing fee of $100
*Homeschooled students should present a summary of coursework completed during the previous year.

Step 4:  Schedule Student Testing
After all application materials have been received, families will be contacted within 24 hours to set up testing.

Step 5:  Attend Parent Interview
Following testing, we will contact families to schedule a parent interview.

Step 6:  Enrollment Decisions
We encourage new families to return application materials as early as possible to ensure the testing and interview take place in time for admissions deadlines.  Testing and interviews will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.

New Family Early Admissions:
Deadline:  February 28, 2012 
Admissions decisions are sent via mail.  In cases where students are accepted but the class is full, students will be placed on a waiting list and notified when/if an opening becomes available.

Step 7:  Commitment Form & Tuition Deposit
The tuition deposit is a non-refundable payment deducted from your tuition balance.  It is not an additional payment or a registration fee.
     -  To reserve your student's spot, a tuition deposit of $600 and $275 for each subsequent child is due within seven (7) days of acceptance.  If placed on a waiting list, the tuition deposit is due within seven (7) days of notification of an opening.
     -  Enrollment is completed upon receipt of the tuition deposit and the signed Family Commitment Form.
