Veritas Academy is accredited with quality by the Georgia Accrediting Commission, Inc., with its highest level of accreditation (Accredited With Quality). This status provides eligibility for the HOPE scholarship, acceptance of transcripts at universities and colleges, and transfer of credits to other accredited schools.
Under the GAC, we are a “Non-Traditional Education Center.” This underscores our role in assisting parents in the education of their children, provides great flexibility in our curriculum and operations, and precludes the expenses that do not contribute to our mission. We are not considered an official “school” in the State of Georgia, so Veritas parents must register their children in Georgia or South Carolina as “home-schooled.”
Veritas is also a member of the Association of Classical and Christian Schools (ACCS), and enjoys the full benefits of such membership.
